I got this one from a cabin I sold, later had a recovering bird sitting 

on it

As a kid when he was retired in his mid 70's and 80's, always the builder, he made birdhouses all the time and gave them away to family and friends. My feathered friends have been frequent as-of-late...mostly eating....including a Mallard Duck couple who practically meet me at my door if I haven't gotten their "grub" out early enough!
