Making a List & Checking it Twice
Investing in knowledge to grow your business is always a good investment and I do admire all the time that Michael dedicates to improving the business type training for himself and his people.
Something that we all need to dedicate a portion of our resources to, and go far beyond the basic continuing education requirements in order to set us above the others in our fields.
Later today, I will be flying to Vegas to get some specialized training to help grow the business and take it to another level. As business owners, many of us are great technicians and lousy at business. This is the reason that many businesses fail. I have always believed that much of the process at growing a business is the personal development side. So even though, this session will be in Vegas there will no time for slots or the gaming tables. I gamble enough in my every day life. I prefer to take the calculated risks that have a much better chance of success than the roll the dice on a crap shoot.
That being said, I am making my list and checking it twice as oftentimes I get ahead of myself while packing and rushing about taking care of those last minute items. I hate it when I get to my destination and there is that “Aw Crap!!!” moment.
