A Curb Cut is a cut in a curb and sidewalk that enables  a car to drive into a carport or driveway for off-street parking.  Before beginning  a curb cut project in NYC  the Brooklyn  homeowner must obtain approve plans / permits from the Buildings Department which will determine if the curb cut project meets safety and zoning requirements.
