Never give up!

Think we all have moments that enable us to relate to good ole Charlie Brown. Sometimes all the odds seem stacked against us and we don't know if we can take another step forward.  Thought this would be a good message for us during those tough times.  Never give up even when the going gets rough and you feel like you can't keep up the momentum needed.  When you cross the finish line you'll be happy you kept your goal in front of you and did not give up.

Hi Laura;

Great message!  You know, I find that whenever I'm feeling overwhelmed or bogged down, the best thing for me to do is to give it a rest for awhile.  I will intentionally stop and go and do something else as a distraction.

I'll take my dog for a walk and get some sunshine and fresh air, or I'll sit on the back deck and read a couple of chapters in the current book I'm reading, or something just to take my mind off of it for a few minutes.

I find that I get refreshed from distracting myself for a short time, then I'm ready to have another go at it again.

Remember the old saying, 'it's always darkest right before dawn.' So often people give up, when they are so close to success. The reason is, they have tried to wrestle their issue right to the ground, and it's exhausted them.

That's why I like to take a time out.  Get some perspective.  Regroup.  Hit the reset button!  Once I've changed my perspective and lightened up, things tend to smooth out and go easier.

Laura,  every one needs a little boost to their confidence occasionally.  Especially in our profession.  So, positive thinking and take a deep breath and get going.
