René - I agree that the composition of you picture and the title is attention getting.  Also, nice antique.

Those look like rather exotic tea pots sitting on the shelf!  And, if they can talk too, that means they're pretty smart!

Hi Linda Blumenthal ... As one who avoided 'malls' for 20 some years I now find myself in them all the time because I'm teaching a social media 3 clock hour class #mobilecomcamp about using your mobile technology to market. It's a blast and I've found, as a blogger, that these urban villages are an absolute treasure chest of photo opportunities! Thanks!

Thanks Larry Johnston ! I confess... I left then smashed my box :O)  And it's been said that talking to inanimate objects may be a disorder, but I embrace it. Photos are a language...

Thanks Grant Schneider ... I was really struck by the fact (discovering they are not antiques) very traditionally Chinese and made from cast iron... They are beautiful.

Agreed Myrl Jeffcoat ... Something about them struck my funny bone... They are so contemporary, yet so 5,000 years ago. Anyway, a cast iron teapot would last a thousand years, right? And, they'd want to fulfill their lives by being used as they were intended... The imagined ceremony that would go with that just totally seized my attention.

I have a cast iron teapot on my wood burning stove.  I put water in it when we have a fire to put moisture back into the house, but it's not nearly as pretty as those two.  I am going to have to search out a pretty cast iron one now.

Hi Tammy Lankford ... This was at Teavana, owned by Starbucks... They are across the country now. I don't have a cast iron teapot, but I do have (and cherish) a small castiron pot she used to simmer herbs and things to make the house smell good.

What a great idea Rene Fabre I have a gigantic rosemary plant and next winter I'm going to make use of putting some in the water on the wood burning stove for making the house smell good.  Thanks.

I like this kind of teapots. I have one( was gifted), but I don't really use it, since I'm more a coffee person.

Hi Endre Barath, Jr. ... I have a few teacups I inherited from my Mom. They belonged to her Mom and are from the teens and 20's... Teacups are much more practical as a collection! :O)
