On March 16th I posted "I Won Lotto This Week".....
Approximately 40 years ago I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus at Mt. Sinai Hospital and The Lahey Clinic....
Once I understood that their was no cure for the disease I decided not to see any doctors...
Understand my Father was a doctor and was totally opposed to my position but I told him that since there was no cure and all they did was keep my in a state of high alert I would use other means to deal with the disease... and I did... I had a spiritual healer... an amazing hypnotist that taught me how to block pain and have out of body experiences... I followed Dr. Norman Cousins, Louise Hayes and on and on and on...
But then Rich broke his neck and was put in a Halo Brace and I began to faint every time I realized that he had that thing screwed into his scull...
So my son the doctor said I had to see a doctor to find out what was going on... The doctor was David's best friends Father and David was comfortable with him...
After explaining to me that Rich was very safe in that brace and would be fine he asked if there was anything else wrong with me... I said no and David said she has Lupus...
Let me make a long story short... he said he could take care of me because his daughter had Lupus... For approximately 27 years I have seen him every month... I have been on more drugs than I can list... I have had complete blood test every month... I have been on steroids and Lupus meds for 27 years...
For whatever reason after finding out that I had A-Fib and the cardiologist telling me that it most likely was caused by all the drugs I've been on for Lupus I went to a rheumatologist for another opinion.... Imagine That !!!!!
Guess what...all my tests were negative... He them asked me to ask my Doctor when was the last time he had a positive Lupus test...
Guess what...The doctor that has treated me for over 26 years admitted to never having one...
I have since consulted with three other doctors and they all agree no Lupus for me... That does not mean I never had Lupus but Lupus can go into remission and if it does all meds should be stopped and for me they never were...
I was used as an ATM Machine and never had a clue...
Now... here is why I share this information... Everyone wants me to institute a lawsuit... Guess what... I'm not... Not only am I not taking any legal action but I feel no anger I feel blessed to have discovered that I don't have Lupus and to know that in a short time I will be off of all the medication I've been on for years and I look forward to living a healthy life...

I am so very excited and so happy. I have no words to express my gratitude to who or whatever it was that made me seek another opinion...
For 40 years I have avoided the Sun because it is not good for people with Lupus.... I can't wait to get a sun tan!!!
So that's my story... We are all in a state of shock and we are all so very happy...
My advise to all would be... Get second opinions when it comes to your health and don't wait 26 years to do so...
