Continuing the Trip on the Cruise

continuing the story from my last post since I am experiencing much difficulty with the speed and response from the Active Rain site, especially trying to get the photos inserted.

The following Saturday we set out for Fort Lauderdale and the 8 day cruise which left that Sunday.  The cruise left for tow days at sea in order to reach St Kitts for a day, St Lucia for a day and St Maartens for a day with three days at sea back to Fort Lauderdale.  The cruise met with high winds, rough seas and rain for the first three days or so then the weather broke and it was what we expected it to be when we left the chilly Pocono Mountains a week or so earlier.  There is always too much food on a cruise if you are not careful so we skipped all of the late buffets, most breakfasts and some lunches.  We also dined away from the normal dining room one evening with reservations at Nick and Nora's Supper Club on deck ten.  This was a quiet and  sophisticated, well decorated room with limited seating and wonderful service (and an expanded wine list).  While the dinner has a surcharge to the dining plan included with the normal cruise fare it was worth the extra money.
