Easter Eggs

Easter is quickly approaching and other than the Easter Bunny, hunting eggs is probably the most popular aspect of the holiday. Which is why children ages 1 – 9 should gather baskets and buckets in order to prepare for the Sandy Springs Easter Egg Hunt. Set for Saturday, March 28, 2015, not only will kids be collecting eggs, but they can also get their face painted and check out a fire truck.

Of course, the hunts will be divided by age group to ensure each child gets a fair chance to gather as many eggs as possible. Hunt times are 10:30 a.m. (ages 1-3), 11:00 a.m. (ages 4-6) and 11:30 a.m. (ages 7-9.) Arrive early to register. Registration opens at 10 a.m. at the Hammond Park Turf Field.

The best part is that participation is completely free of charge! Also, no registration is required. For more information, call 770-206-2035.

This event is provided by the North Perimeter Optimist Club in cooperation with the Sandy Springs Recreation and Parks Department. Hammond Park is located at 705 Hammond Drive, Sandy Springs.
