Easter Weekend in Port St. Lucie FloridaWho is ready for an Easter Egg Hunt?  I can almost taste the marshmallows Easter bunnies and chocolate Easter eggs!  But there is also something fishy in the air...  Oh and is that a Princess?  Check out the lastest information below on all the various things to do on Easter Weekend 2015 near Port St. Lucie.

Enjoy the Pretty Princess Tea Party on Wednesday, April 1st at 10:00 am.  Meet and mingle with real princesses.  Princesses can dress in their favorite royal attire and enjoy the dress-up trunk, story time, “tea time” snacks, sing-alongs and crafts.  Be sure to bring your camera to capture the happily ever after. There is $3 fee to participate.  If you are interested, please contact Jennifer Romberger at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center by calling 772.807.4499 or emailing jromberger@cityofpsl.com.   The Civic Center is located at 9221 S.E. Civic Center Place in Port St. Lucie.

Are you ready for a Food Truck Invasion?  Come out Tradition in Port St. Lucie on Friday, April 3rd beginning at 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm.  The food trucks will be parked at Tradition Square.  This is a huge outdoor picnic where food trucks of different origins, cuisine and menus prepare food that is cooked to order. It’s not fast food and a bunch of these trucks are run by chefs. A great deal of fusion cuisine, comfort foods and sweet treats to choose from.  Be sure to bring your folding chairs or blankets to have a picnic on on the lawn in front of Tradition Town Hall!  For additional information, please call 772.340.3500.

Ft Pierce Oyster FestivalThe 4th Annual Fort Pierce Oyster Festival will be held on Saturday, April 4th from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm along the waterfront in downtown Fort Pierce.  For more info on this festival, check out a recent blog I posted.

Come out to the St. Lucie County Fairgrounds for the 5th annual Adams Ranch State Qualifying Genuine Ranch Rodeo on Saturday, April 4th from noon to 8 pm.  Watch authentic cowboys working cattle like they do “on the ranch” at the 5th annual Adams Ranch State Qualifying Genuine Ranch Rodeo, Saturday.  Bronc ridin’, wild cow decoratin’, cow gatherin’, trailer loadin’, and ranch sortin’ are all activities commonly found on a working cattle ranch, but on April 4th, teams of cowboys, and cowgirls, from across Florida will compete to see who can do it the best.  The event is presented by the St. Lucie County Cattlemen’s Association, in partnership with Adams Ranch, the event will also feature food and fun for all ages.  Tickets are available at the gate; $10 per person, children 12 and under free with a paid adult. For more information, visit www.adamsranchrodeo.com. Parking is $3.  All proceeds support youth scholarships and agricultural education efforts.

The Easter Bunny Bounce will take place at Tradition Square on Saturday, April 4th beginning at 1:00 pm.  The Exponential Church invites you!  Enjoy FREE bounce houses, snow cones, and get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny!

So much to do!  What will you choose?  Whatever you do, enjoy!

So true Barbara Todaro!  Our area beaches here are so nice because they aren't jammed packed with people like the ones further south.  It is truly paradise.
