If a Blog post gets little comments - Was it a FAILURE?

How do you keep people from commenting on your blog posts? Easy, write a Market Report. A shocking thing happened when i started my latest series of Market Reports. My comments went form 20 to 5. A couple of posts are at a lonely ZERO.  As i buried my head in sorrow the phone rang, not an hour after I posted it. A Home Owner in the condo complex I wrote about, wanted to list their condo and said I was the one to do it.  Trumpets sounded and a light shined down from above. The true meaning of market reports isn't to get comments, but to reach new clients.

Now if you are still reading this far I have a secret I already knew market reports worked to reach potential Buyers and Sellers of Homes in my area. With Inspiration from Larry, Sheila and Dick, I enjoy learning about every condo community, neighborhood and subdivision in my area. Then marketing Guru Barbara let me borrow the title :How many Pending Sales in____".

THE LESSON I so often write about is here is for Buyers and Sellers, the lesson is that a Home Sale/Purchase will only go as well as the agent handling it, is experienced in doing so. A "GOOD" Agent's job is to stand by their client through each step of the buying or selling process.

All agents are not created equal. They have a choice in agents and should not rush into hiring just anyone. For HOME SELLERS they can make their Home sale process easier by hiring a "GOOD" Listing Agent. One who will explain the sales process, guide them and assist them in making the through out EVERY step in the selling process.

You can search for Manchester area Homes For Sale by clicking here. what is for sale by clicking here.

I leave you with my infamous words of wisdom that Buyers and Sellers can learn that they do have a choice in Real Estate Agents. Choosing a "GOOD" one, sure can make a difference. I leave you with my simple recipe to make your Real Estate Dreams come true.

THE TOP TIPS TO FIND A "GREAT" REAL ESTATE AGENT

 1. LEARN THIS ONE FACT: One should know that All Agents are not created equal and every buyer or seller should take the time to hire the BEST not just the biggest Agent or Company. It is important to Hire the BEST Agent. In NH that could be me.

2. CHOOSE THE RIGHT AGENT: As a Buyer OR Seller in this market you need every advantage you can to get your home sold. It starts with choosing the right agent. a. Ask for a Full time agent whose sole job is to sell homes. b. Ask for a Full service agent who will guide you through each step of the selling process. Discount brokers often equal discount services. c. Ask for a Local agent who knows your neighborhood and is readily available when you need them is a must. Out of town agents can leave you high and dry in your time of need. d. Ask for a well experienced Listing Agent can give you the advantages you need when selling your home. Not all agents are created equal. Choose only the best.

 3. HOME BUYERS SHOULD START BY:  Getting a FREE PRE-QUALIFICATION with a local and trusted lender. They will look at your credit and financial picture and let you know what type of mortgage you may qualify for and what your interest rate and monthly payment may be.

4. HOME SELLERS SHOULD START BYGetting a FREE MARKET ANALYSIS. Learn what your property is worth in today's market along with how ling it may take to sell. If you are ready to sell now, learn what you should ask for it. How much offers may come in at and what the approximate selling price should be. NH Home owners should contact me now.

IN SUMMARY the key to having a successful purchase or sale can increase simply choosing a better agent. The secret is that All Agents are not created equal and every buyer or seller should take the time to hire the BEST not just the biggest. I leave you with now infamous philosophy, which is simple, to provide more personal and professional service to guide my clients through each step of the buying or selling process.

It does not take magic to turn your "For Sale" sign into a "Sold" sign. it takes a full time Local Agent who specializes in Listing homes like yours.

Thinking outside the box

Scott, Let me be one of the first to read and appreciate you post.

I have written posts that turned out being read by just a few and I thought they were be very interesting.

I also had a post that to me seemed not all that interesting, to my surprise, it was read by a lot of folks and to top that it made it as a "featured" post, go figure!

So, I say, don't worry about the head count. There is always someone out there who will appreciate your words.

Thanks Bob Publicover for the comment, in the past writing about not getting a feature got you a feature, so my thought is writing about not getting comments will get me some comments, But I really LOVE the calls and emails from potential new clients

Good morning, Scott -- as far as I know, you can't comments and points to the bank.   Making the phone ring or receiving that email and making that connection with buyers or sellers is definitely where it's at.   Good for you.

Thanks for writing this.  I have been consistantly writing market reports and getting an average of two comments.  I was thinking I was boring people to death.  Thanks for putting things into perspective.

Hi Scott - As far as I know, Google has never commented on one of my market reports, but I know that Google reads them and likes them. That's good enough for me.

Scott- Comments are nice but if you're after leads, sellers, buyers and such then keep those market reports and local reports coming.  I actually read some just out of curiosity and I may comment to say "hello" to the blogger.

It is very nice to receive comments but is it much better to receive calls from prospective home buyers and home sellers.

I have posted hundreds of blogs that received few comments.
