A coworker and I went to lunch at Orlandos Seafood Restaurant yesterday. It is located at 304 Hwy 22 West ~ Madisonville, LA ~ 2 blocks past the Tchefuncte River. This is a classic mom and pop seafood restaurant that specializes in southern favorites. We started with "Sharon's" Stuffed Mushrooms, filled with scrumptious crab and shrimp stuffing! They were AMAZING!! I was enjoying my food so much that I forgot to ask our waitress if "Sharon" was available to personally thank her for creating such a delicious appetizer. There were so many enticing entrees it was difficult to select just one. For the main course I ordered a dozen Raw Oysters and my coworker chose Charbroiled Oysters. Not only was the service swift, but talk about melt in your mouth oysters. After filling up on generous servings prepared like mom and pop we headed back to the office. The rest of our afternoon we couldn't stop raving to fellow coworkers about the delightful lunch experience we enjoyed at Orlando's Seafood Restaurant.
