TRAVERSE CITY, Michigan – March 30, 2015 – Century 21 Northland is pleased to announce plans to open its newest office in the Village of Empire. The new location, which will operate under the company’s Sleeping Bear Real Estate brand, will be Century 21 Northland’s fourth real estate office in Leelanau County, and ninth office in the greater Grand Traverse region.
The Empire office will further strengthen Century 21 Northland’s expertise in the Leelanau County market, and will help Century 21 agents to build new relationships in a vibrant, growing community surrounded by Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
“We’re excited to continue our growth in Leelanau County by establishing a year-round presence in Empire, which will establish Century 21 Northland as the only brokerage with an office servicing the Empire area, ” said Brad Platt, co-owner of the company. “Empire and The Sleeping Bear Dunes region is a special part of our area, and we’re looking forward to supporting the community with our industry-leading expertise.”
The addition of the Empire office marks the eighth strategic expansion for Century 21 Northland since the company was founded 2006. In 2009, the company opened their Suttons Bay office. In 2010, Sleeping Bear Realty was added to the Century 21 Northland brand. In early 2013, Northland acquired Remerica Up North Properties, which now serves as its Elk Rapids office, and Northland’s Old Mission Peninsula and Northport offices were opened in 2014.
Northland Vacation Rentals, a sister company of Century 21 Northland with offices in Traverse City and Glen Arbor, is also expanding is Leelanau County portfolio with the acquisition of a group vacation rentals in the Glen Arbor area.
