Ironstone Winery Concerts 2015

 Ironstone Winery in Murphys Ca has announced their concerts for the summer of 2015.  This is one of the nicest places in the area to see a concert.   The amphitheater is located on the beautiful grounds of the Ironstone Winery in the Sierra Nevada foothills.

I have been to several concerts there over the last few years and always have enjoyed myself.  Murphys is a great place to come up and make it a whole day of fun. 

There are dozens of wineries, such as Twisted Oak, in the area that offer wine tastings of some very good wines.  If you want to try something other than wine head over to Marisolio Tasting Bar to try olive oils and balsamic vinegars. There is also the famous Murphys Hotel Saloon where you can hang out before or after the show and enjoy an adult beverage. 

There are several great places to eat in Murphys. If you are looking for a place for your pre concert dinner there are several restraunts in downtown Murphys that should hit the spot. You can also get a quick meal or snack at the venue itself as there are always plenty of food vendors.

If you want to make it a weekend trip there are lots of places to stay in and around Murphys. Just a word of warning though you better make your reservations soon because they tend to fill up early for concert weekends.

July 25th - Boston and REO Speedwagon

August 1st - Steve Miller and Buddy Guy

August 13th - The Band Perry, Scotty McCreery,

and Casey James

August 27th - Hall and Oates, Mutlu

Tickets go on sale April 9th and are available through Ticketmaster.
