I am uninspired at times to write about what I know the most about. Real Estate. I have spared you most of the anecdotal stories because I don't really don't like talking about my client experiences even though they have always been wonderful. It just feels like I would be betraying that agent /client relationship just to make some internet noise.
And I don't like telling people too much about how I run my business because I sure don't want to come off like a know it all. But it works well for me. I do like sharing photography and some of the neat things you can with it but I think that even this gets a bit too predicable.
I could write about all the things I have learned in real estate after over two decades of service to my clients, service to my profession in local, state national leadership but most of it would be of no value to anybody. Sort of like politics after the election, LOL.
I try to write narrative local market reports but find them short on benefits unless I knew for sure consumers in the market were reading them and it helped them in some way make a better decision. But I have no particular proof of that. And further, too many and it is just plain uninteresting. It comes down to just doing a little of this and a little that often enough and trying to make my way to help out where I can, give guidance when and where I can, share experiences in photography that I hope aren't boring and promote the city that I love. San Diego, Where Happy Happens ! At least that is true for me.
The hardest thing for me to remember is to always practice what I preach. Each day we all likely have a different audience reading our posts and what I said in my many yesterday posts very possibly could bear repeating again today. Thus, our ActiveRain Senior staff is now encouraging us to re-write some of our older posts because they know the value of what we shared before and new consumers need the same education (updated) of course. I haven't started that as yet but it seems like a perfect time to begin.
