Now is a Time to Grow and Renew Your Spirit

“No matter how long the winter

spring is sure to follow.”

Proverb

As I see it . . . . . . .

Now is a time to grow and renew your spirit

I would to reflect on a recent business trip to New Jersey.

During my visit I experienced . . . . a wide array of conditions. The weather ranged from being comfortable . . . . and in the mid 30’s to bone chilling freezing. There where snow flurries, sleet . . . . and blizzard conditions with all the weather conditions occurred in less then a week.

Moving to Florida in 1981 it’s easy to forget how the weather shifts in New Jersey this time of year.

This year New Jersey area experienced a cold winter . . . . and has by daughter would say they had enough snow.

From the number of people that I spoke to they are not so patiently waiting for the weather to change . . . . and the arrival of spring.

The weather in New Jersey is a lot like the seasons in your life.

After the winter comes the spring . . . . and it becomes the time of year for renewal . . . . and new growth it’s also a time for the planting of new seeds.

Your real estate business is a lot like the seasons, you are now coming into the time of renewal in real estate. You may have to put up with a little bit more winter . . . . but then spring will follow . . . . and your real estate business will be in a time of renewal.

Sharpen your tools and have the seed of a positive attitude ready to plant. For whatever you plant in the spring you will harvest in the fall.

Now is the time to grow and renew your spirit . . . . to insure that you make 2015 a year of achieving your goals and objectives.

Great post Lou!  And a great analogy of our business to the changing seasons.  With the recent market craze, seasons haven't really affected the business much here but, you're right, spring is the time when most people want to buy/sell - it's a convenient time to move for families.  Good luck with your business and may this spring bring you tremendous blossoms!

I could not imagine living in a cold weather state, I guess I am too acclimated to the warmth in Arizona pretty much year round.  I like how you have compared the two and we are constantly needing to renew our spirit, both in life and business!

Good morning, Lou Ludwig I'd want so badly to believe that the spring will follow the horrendous winter we just had....we get a tease and then back to 30 degree temps!!!

Thank you for sharing Lou! Interesting that you mentioned seasons because depending on what market you're in the seasons may vary. We actually get a boost into high season here during the winter months as people come here to escape the conditions you mentioned in New Jersey. Either way your advice still holds true! Good luck.
