Looking for the Perfect Home?

Home for Sale Balmville NY

Do you ever dream about what it would be like to find THE perfect home? While many beautiful homes exist, what if the perfect home could be found, priced right, move in ready... I'm in! Truth be told, searching for a home is not as simple as the TV shows make it seem. Countless things happen that those shows never tell you about. The process involves everything from  start to finish. As part of the process we work to identify homes, tour them, compare them, inspect them, guide you with the mortgage process and help you along the way to the closing table.  TV shows are all about the drama! Drama means followers and producers need great ratings to land a major TV series. Buying a home is a stressful time and there can be many twists and turns in the process. Our job is to keep the drama down to a minimum! Drama is great for TV and bad for any consumer. My goal is never encounter as much drama that you see on the shows. My goal is to find your perfect home and make it happen as stress free as possible. In order to find a home you will need to plan properly.

When beginning a search to find a home the steps should be clear.

...be prepared to make your offer today...

The Best Advice When Searching for a Home...

  • Get PreQualified - and know your budget
  • Don't mess up your credit
  • Decide on a location you want to live
  • Work with a Realtor that represents you, not the seller

That seems quite clear and all good advice. The process should be straight forward and simple. So why is so difficult to find a home and move in? Unlike the TV shows, you may not look at just three houses and find your dream home. There may not be a an active listing that works for your needs and wants today. It takes time to look at homes. Taxes may be too high, location may not be in the right school district, or the day you tour homes is the day that another offer comes to the table and knocks the wind out of your sails. Bam. It is time to start all over looking and scouring the internet again and again for a home that works.

When you are ready to purchase a home you will need to commit to the process. If you are looking today, then you should be prepared today to make an offer on that home. Not next week or next month, now. Waiting could possibly result in you missing out on a home you love.

While no home is 100% perfect, I think we may be able to find you that special place to call home. Our goal is to help you locate that place and make sure that you have all the information you need to go forward with buying the home of your dreams.

Search the entire Great Hudson Valley MLS for your next home. We help you locate what is currently available, negotiate the deal, navigate the inspection process and more. Buying real estate should never be a DIY adventure.

If a buyer can find a property that satisfies 85-90% of their wants, they can very easily make the perfect home with time time and effort

ah yes, HGTV does make it look so much easier than it really is don't they?  The steps you describe are certainly the ones a buyer should take.

You've certainly done a great job outlining what buyers should do. And I like that you took Craig's idea of emphasizing text...or did you already know about that?!
