Real Estate In Maine | Moonlighting In Another Property Market.

Maine is one big state. No doubt about that when you scan a map.

See this thumb so far north, in the upper right hand corner. Pretty much surrounded by Canada on three sides, the rock bound Maine coast along the Downeast region.  We get asked a lot "is it dangerous being that close to Canada"?houlton maine clock photo

On our website media streams there is the ability to search all of Maine real estate.

The entire state of Maine is always just a tap tap away.

On whatever hand held device the real estate for Maine property buyer is holding.

Is craddling in their lap or sitting behind for the hunt and peck property browsing.

A real estate agent, broker, REALTOR is taught to serve the market in close proximity.

Too not get too far flung. Or running the roads, burning up precious fuel and time. But to expose, market what is listed out into the wild blue yonder. Broadcasting it to the four corners of the World.

But... (Shoe drops, pregnant pause, hesitation marks showing up in blog post conversation.)

Last night I strayed. It happens once in a while. Maybe caused by killer Tex-Mex food or a full Maine moon.

Woke up pretty tired because during the night it was list, market, sell (repeat).

In a brand new area, Mt Desert Island, Bar Harbor Maine.

About two and a half hours to the southeast in Maine from the "Crown of Maine".

Slightly higher price tags, shortages of many types of properties listings can change the entire approach. Do that to a smaller contained real estate market in Maine. Where ocean frontage and salt air, sea breezes, lobsters, lighthouses can have all cause a hypnotic effect. On the real estate buyers, sellers; the property agents and brokers too that deal in those property listings in Maine unique markets.

You get familiar with how your local Maine real estate market works but it is fun to dip your toe.maine photo

To think what if you did live in another venue.

Outside the comfort zone of where you usually swim in the real estate waters.

Just to compare the differences between where you hang your hat now or could down the road.

Like this blog post about being in Colorado with Maine real estate approaches the shift.

The marketing if finding yourself just not in Kansas any more Toto.

I think I'll stay in Houlton Maine, where the ever evolving real estate market.

All the dog and pony tried and tested, the cutting edge techniques too.

Needed to capture a bigger piece of the pie. Greater market share of whatever property listings, the real estate sales that are out there under our red, white and blue color brand.

Andrew Mooers Nice blog piece and the ramblings make me reminisce. Never spent much time in Houlton, more of the Orono type here!

Andrew

I would think it's safe living close to Canada.

Good luck and success.
