What buyers want
Congratulations buyers - a neighborhood developer has finally listened! It's the first of it's kind in Schertz, TX - a master-planned, mixed use community - The Crossvine, off 1518. They are building Phase 1 now, with Ryland Homes and David Weekley Homes as the featured builders. Both builders pay a lot of attention to energy efficiency, so buyers will see some savings on utilities. After completion the community will have single family homes, garden homes, senior living, as well as some commercial businesses to serve the surrounding area.
The community will have over 12 miles of hike and bike trails, and acres of parks and greenbelts. There is a resort style pool, a covered, events pavilion, and an outdoor, lakeside stage and amphitheater for residents' use . The design is meant to connect and engage neighbors, with each other and with the community, and the homes and the community landscaping are designed to reflect the Texas Hill Country. It's a lovely community that I know is going to make buyers happy!
I recently attended their Grand Opening and put together a quick video to highlight some of the amenities:
The neighborhood is in the Schertz Cibolo Universal City ISD. You can visit their site to learn more about their school ratings. If you're not familiar with the City of Schertz, be sure to check out their site as well. If you're interested in checking out the community, or have questions, let me know.
There are so many other terrific neighborhoods in Schertz too.
