Real Living Bloggers

Who within Real Living blogs outside ActiveRain?

I am looking for blogs for a relocation post on my ColumbusBestBlog.com post about five markets... and if there was a Real Living agent blogging I would link to their blog...

1. Denver / Aurora Colorado

2. Miami Florida

3. Fort Lauderdale Florida

4. Orlando Florida

5. Phoenix Arizona

I don't even know if Real Living is in some of those markets!

I know Roby Roberson has a blog other than ActiveRain but his is NOT one of the five markets that I am now looking for a local real estate blog in, now.  Of course Elaine Reese... has a blog that is not ActiveRain... but does anyone else?

Guest Blogging Opportunity - Central Ohio

Also if you are in a market in the Carolinas, Florida, Arizona or another "retirement" area I would love to have you write a Guest Blog on ColumbusBestBlog.com Jim Hirschhorn from Orlando Florida did a guest blog for me.

Moving to Florida

Thanks Jim.

You don't have to blog outside of ActiveRain to guest blog on my ColumbusBestBlog.com although I believe you get more benefit from guest blogging if you have a blog outside ActiveRain... but what do I know?

I have asked bloggers I know (non Real Living people) to guest blog and while some have agreed to do so they have not produced a post yet...

My friend Jonathan Dalton a real estate blogger in Phoenix inspired me to ask bloggers in sunnier climes to post an entry about relocating to their market.  Canadians are relocating to Phoenix because it is a bargain for them relatively speaking.  Jonathan made a tour of Canadian real estate blogs guest blogging in the dead of winter, brave soul.

Maureen-

Go to the business center and connect with...

  • Jim Hirshorn and/or Tony Marino in Orlando
  • Tom Stravecky in Ft. Lauderdale
  • Tom Grimshaw in Miami
  • We have three in PHX - Gary May (Scottsdale), Bill Ashker (Glendale), Bill Doyle (Gilbert).
  • Betriz Martinez in Colorado - she's in Vail, but may be able to lend insight into Denver.

Hope this helps.

No disrespect Chris of course I could do research on the Real Living site, but why?  If they're not blogging it's a total waste of my time.

I am not going to call or email people I don't know and get into discussions about:

What is blogging?

Why blog?

Is blogging a good use of time?

I know Jim and Tony from ActiveRain, I don't believe either of them are blogging outside ActiveRain. Real Estate is local... Denver and Aurora are worlds away from Vail... without going into what the post is about.

If people come forward from this post great.  If they don't I really don't care because it does not matter to me if the real estate blogs I link to are Real Living blogs or another brand.  I thought it would be nice to ask though, if anyone is blogging within the brand. I don't mind giving a link to a Real Living real estate blogger, who has a good local blog...

The point is good local blogs, which has nothing to do with branding IMHO.  Thanks for the comment.

Maureen, I'd love to talk with you about guest blogging, and connecting our blog worlds a bit.  http://bloghomedenver.com

Coincidentally, I just wrote a post on guest blogging a few days ago.

There were a couple of Real Living agents here, but they ended up coming to where I am now. It was the first I'd heard about the company out here.

Even though RE/MAX is huge on market share, I'll freely refer outside the system if I know a blogger in that other market. That's the plus to blogging - you get to know people much better than on a flat online profile.

Bob... the post I am working on works for your blog... you have content there that works right into what the post is about.  You got a link.

I am not sure about a guest blogger from Denver... I think of people in Columbus retiring to / second homing in Florida and the Carolinas.  I have a poll on my blog that while it has few votes at all proves I know nothing about where the readers of my blog want to move to though.  I would have thought the SW US would be less popular here than Florida because I am so used to people from the Great Lakes region  vacationing and snowbirding in Florida.

I will have to look at your post about guest blogging.  I don't believe I saw it.  I saw one recently that was featured that seemed negative about the idea.. but I did not have a chance to read it.

@PapaGrande I mean Jonathan... your travels across Canada were so inspiring.  Would you guest blog on ColumbusBestBlog sometime?  We don't have that dollar thing going for us but it seems more people in Central Ohio are interested in the south west US than I ever would have guessed.

I am surprised a lot of times that I really have no clue what brand (brokerage) real estate bloggers are.  There is one blogger I am including who works for a brand I am no fan of at all... I just peaked to see today,  what brokerage he or she is with.

The links are just... if you want to know more about X market... may relocate there, here's a real estate blog or two that I recommend.

Pretty good Chris...you only missed 2 letters in my last name. :)

Maureen, There are a handful of us that blog on http://www.lifeasanagent.com/

We primarily use this for recruiting but have thought recently about opening it up to Managers and Brokers throughout the Real Living Network.

I am happy to do another guest blog anytime. Just give me a topic and I am off!
