New Contemporary Art Building in Denver | MCA

The Museum of Contemporary Art has a new building in Denver, further establishing our city as a Meca for art!  The new building is modern in design and is an environmentally-efficient building, designed by David Adjaye.  Take a look via the link below:

Modern construction is taking a foothold in Denver.  If you have not seen this in the residential market, take some time to drive around the general Highlands area, especially LOHI, as well as Five Points area, where you will see a significant number of contemporary homes, duplexes, and multi-unit buildings.  The contemporary style homes are typically on the market for less than average time and can demand premium prices.

All the best,

Hi Stefan!

On a side-but-similar note I am continually impressed with how many of the scrapes are going in the Cherry Creek area.  There is a fine line between scraping/rebuilding a property with taste and then scraping and disregarding the flavor of a particular neighborhood.  I have seen, however, a large number of newer scrapes that are trying really hard to keep consistent with the existing homes.

Nice post about the positives attributes of the area!

You are on the right track with tasteful development in Highlands and continuing North to Berkeley.  I have a vision of this area and I think we are on the same page.  I have my own investments here and consider any well planned development an asset.  There is quite a bit of property here that warrants scraping if not nuking.  But then there are VIEWS, certain peace and fast access to downtown.  This the happening area!

You work there and have investements...I like how commited you are to the area.  Do you think the walking bridge that connects LOHI and the Platte area has been a significant contribution to the area?  Are people using it?
