Are your websites mobile friendly? If not get ready for a big shake up on April 21, 2015. Google is favoring mobile friendly websites. This means if your website is not mobile friendly it could lose rankings. The idea here is that 50% of all web traffic is from mobile sources, (smart phones and tablets) and Google most likely wants to cash in on ad revenue.

Take the test to see if your website makes the cut.

In regards to "mobile responsive", when you check your site, see if the important stuff is getting priority placement when your site is displayed on mobile browsers. Most brokerage sites I have modified for clients allows for arranging modules as you see fit. In some cases you can use this to make sure the  moduels you want a client to see first, show up at the top of the device.

Also, if your site has sliders or other large  images, have your site "punt" them in favor of the content that keeps the visitor engaged.

Of course this advice is useless if your site is not mobile responsive. Also, mobile responsive does not mean your site turns into a tidy thumbnail on our iPhone or Galaxy.

One client told me his site looked just fine on his phone. So I told him to navigate to his contact form and fill it out...

He got it after that.
