Do You Know About IPE ?

I know it has to do with the type of wood for decking? Reason I know that little bit is my contractor was talking about it recently. I should research this!

Well, I had to look it up online!  It's beautiful!  I look forward to seeing it in your new listing.

What does it stand for?  I am always happy to get educated on products that my clients may be using.

Margaret - I did not know about IPE either.  But I am going to find out.  I just worked on my deck.

I've heard of it, but am not too familiar with it at all Margaret.

Oh yes, what a great wood.  Is it for a deck?  Holds up very well there.  Oh, and thx for the mention.

We installed this in a very expensive and contemporary house in New Canaan. 

All - you may know this a Brazilian Walnut (or even Lapacho).
