Mortgage Market Report for Friday April 11th, 2008

Trading slows for stocks and bonds as the week draws to a close. Mortgage Bonds off the highs from this morning. Stocks still underwater but trying to battle back.

University of Michigan's Consumer Sentiment gives a snapshot of whether or not consumers feel like spending money.  It came in much lower than expected at 63.2 vs consensus estimate of 69 - the lowest in 26 years.

Bonds have improved slightly on these reports on the decline in the stock market.
