But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become the children of God, even to those who believe in His name.JOHN 1 :12
Once we are saved we become "of God".We are His children, we have eternal life, why do we not show joy to the world at all times. Our life is of God, our happiness is of God, our sorrow is of God, everything we do or say is of God. We are already promised the greatest gift imaginable. Nothing on earth can compete with what He has already given us. There is never a reason to not be joyful. During our biggest trials we can still be joyful that the Lord is our savior and he has overcome the world. Health can be healed, finances can be straightened out, a new job can be found, a relationship can be healed, b ut the joy which comes from the Lord is constant.
So smile, all the time even during trial and tribulations , let people think you are crazy. It just may open up a conversation in which you can tel them that the reason for your hapiness is because the Lord Jesus Christ is your savior and redeemer.
