Spring MeetUps, May 11-16, Can you host?

The results are in, it was a close one but the majority has chosen May 11-16th for our 2015 Spring MeetUp week.  Now comes the fun part, hosting!

Hosting a MeetUp doesn't take much, anyone is welcome and able to host.  Each attendee is on their own for food and drink so you're basically picking a spot/date/time to get together.  Many MeetUps happen during lunch, happy hour or breakfast.  Choose a restaurant or coffee shop and spread the word. We'll market them on our end and I suggest writing a post about your MeetUp so your followers don't miss it.  Invite anyone in your real estate world to attend.  

If you want to host simply fill out the form below by April 27th.

I'll send out a list of the MeetUps shortly after and if you don't see one in your area, please know you'll have a few days to submit yours.  The cutoff for scheduling a MeetUp is May 6th as we want to make sure everyone is aware to help ensure good attendance.

Sometimes 2 people show up, sometimes 15.....it's a good time no matter how many do. 

Hosts will receive 3,000 points and all attendees will receive 1,000!

I am very tempted to do one of these. I'll need to perk up the locals and see who I can muster. It's too soon for this time frame ... but.... maybe I can set a goal to see if we can make it happen next time. That's my new challenge.

I just wish we could pick any four times during the year that coicides with our non-busy schedule or for when other AR members visit Dallas for business, such as when  and I met up during the KW Family Reunion in Dallas with Sally K. & David L. Hanson , or Sharon Parisi and I met up with Michael Thornton from Tennessee  when he was at meetings in Dallas.  

I do think Bob Crane has a great, great plan mentioned in the Northern Adirondack Mountains of New York. My son went there often as a camper in Maine for their long campouts and I always wished I could go there because he raved about the natural beauty in the Northwoods and the camping experiences left lasting memories.

If I host one do you have a way to notify all the agents in Lee County, FL (Fort Myers and Cape Coral area) about the meet up?  We have so many agents here but the local meet up I went to a couple of years ago only had a handful of people show up.  I am slammed with work right now so don't have the time to personally call agents inviting them.
