Who knew a new garage could elicit so much attention? In the art district Miami it can. A new 559 spot parking garage in early April of 2015, which is only one of the many new additions to this ever popular Miami destination. The multi-story garage has two show-stopping facades painted on the exterior, allowing patrons of the district to park inside, and those passing by to admire exquisite art.

Paraiso BayIt is the City View Garage, and is only one of the many new constructions being developed in the area. Real estate business DACRA and designed by Craig Robin who is the developer, working alongside L Real Estate. Developed by architects Craig Scott and Lisa Iwamoto who are from San Francisco. They are set to work alongside New York and Los Angeles brothers, Chris and Dominic Leong, who are set to design a facade to either end of the building.

At one end, the Leong's 80 foot tall, western elevation side is covered with steel panels which are glittered, gold coated, and titanium, along with stainless steel siding. The opposite side created by Iwamoto and Scott is a digitally fabricated, metal screen, which covers the SE corner of the new construction building. There are several fins along the sides of the concrete slabs on the building, also allowing natural ventilation to pass through the new construction. This is also there to cover industrial structures which lies below the space.

This new construction in the art district Miami is not simply a parking garage however. Along the first floor of the structure there are new shopping centers, restaurants, store fronts, popular bars, and cafes. There are a few art galleries situated on the ground level of the new building as well. Above this floor, the building designers have also commissioned artist John Baldessari from California, to design to new art pieces to place on the building. These will be titled Fun Part 1 and Fun Part 2. These designs are set to cover the building's exterior, and supposedly to add new depth, color, and structure to the all metal and steel covered exterior.

The new art designs are set to cover opposites ends of the building, which will allow drivers, and those passing by the building to clearly see the new art pieces on the building's sides. The art designs are going to be gigantic in order to cover the entire exterior of the building once they are completed. The pieces are said to be of nostalgic pool and beach side scenes, and are supposed to be canvased in all black and white to contrast other design elements, and metallic finishes over the entire building.

Paraiso Bay is one of the pre-construction projects in the middle of Arts District. Paraiso Bay contains 2 towers each 55-story high with a total of 700 units. The building has an unique design and amazing waterfront views of Miami's beautiful Bay. Paraiso Bay is just one of the many pre-construction projects in Art District at the moment.

The art district Miami never sleeps, just like the rest of the city. With new constructions going up on a regular basis, new buildings, design theaters, bars, and other facilities being constructed on a daily basis, this parking garage is the latest. Serving as an art piece, and functional parking facility, guests can marvel at the construction, after parking their car inside its walls.
