If you have read my blog for any amount of time you know my daughter is a determined, ambitious ... helper of others. She set off to college back in the summer of 2006 telling me she was going to be a trainer and work in sports medicine. I just sat back and said "whatever" just go to school.
Later I got a call saying "don't be mad", but now I'm going to EMT school. Later I found out she also sneaked (no not kidding, Sneaked) and attended firefighter school too. Then she was employed full time and going to paramedic school. Another graduation and still employed full time she called and said she was going to apply to nursing school. I happily paid for that test. She passed, of course.
Then came another of those "don't be mad" phone calls. Even though she had gotten accepted into nursing school she decided what she really wanted to do was go to medical school.
She had some college courses that she had to take before that could happen. So it was work full time and do two semesters full time. On May 9, 2015 she graduate again. And apply for medical school. Of course there is another "test". She wanted to take it in June, but when she went on line to register all the June slots in the US were full. And a quick trip to Canada for a test just wasn't in the budget, so she had to select an April date.
Tomorrow my girl will take her MCAT. (Medical Collage Admission Test). I'm not really worried about her passing. She is totally freaking out. She always has test phobia and always does well. Her test is at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday so if you could send some warm fuzzies or say a little prayer for her nerves I would appreciate it.
And if the mood strikes you, please pop by my Facebook post and leave her a message on my post. She's so nervous. I know she's going to rock this test, she's not sure. I would appreciate it.
