Five of My Favorite Productivity Tools

I don't know about you, but there have times when it's been a struggle to stay productive. After a lot of searching and trying different methods, I've come up with a few productivity tools that have been an amazing help for me.

Here they are:

ToDoist

I've tried a lot of To Do lists and this one is my favorite. It's quick and easy, and I like that it syncs with my Google calendar, so I don't have to bother adding my list in multiple places.

I also like ToDoist because it has a number of features like having color coded projects, labels and filters, so in a quick glance I can see what is do for who when.

LastPass

Who knew a password tool would make my life so much easier but it does! LastPass is a password storing tool that remembers (and can create) passwords for every site you visit and is accessed online.

You never have to worry about forgetting your passwords and having no access. It also allows you share your account information with others but without letting them actually know what your password is.

Evernote

Another indispensible tool for me is Evernote. This is a cloud based note taking tool that stores everything I could want or need. I have it on every device including my iPad and phone.

I've made folders for all my projects, and upload everything from documents to photos beyond just having it ready for all my notes.

Buffer

Since I do quite a bit of scheduling of my social media, I use Buffer for that. I like Buffer because it has a little widget I can install in Chrome that makes it really easy to grab everything from my own posts to great posts I see online.

They also offer a really nice set of analytics so you can take a good look at what is working for you and what isn't.

Simple Pomodoro

If you haven't heard of the Pomodoro method it's simple, simply set a timer to work uninterrupted for 25 minutes and then take a 5 minute break at the end, repeat and after four sets take a 30 minute break.

I love the Simple Pomodoro Chrome widget, it makes it easy. I use this to focus all in for smaller bits of time, you'd be surprised how fast 25 minutes go!

These are some of my favorites, what are some of yours?
