He's been a bad boy. How can people think that they can get away with copying your work? Sick'em

The text is too small to read. Can I assume he plagiarized something of yours? I believe you can file a complaint for copyright violation.

Yikes! I compared them side-by-side. That is a terrible violation on several levels. The fact that it is hidden text is also considered a "black hat" SEO tactic. Report him to Google, Yahoo, etc. as well.

JOEY, Jason has better eyes than me I couldn't read it but its good that he did it for me. Even though copying is supposed to be the highest level of flattery, its not when ITS YOUR WEBSITE OR BLOG!! I had someone copy mine but just enough to be similar, at least they changed the wording.

It's sad that somebody has to resort to that. How foolish!

It's stealing! You did the right thing to call him on it and make it public. Is he a member of AR? Well if so, not for much longer is my bet.

Joey, do a Who-Is search to see if you can determine his Web host. Contact the host and they will shut the site down. Most Web host's guidelines state that sites cannot post content that infringes upon anyone's copyright. If the Web host's name is not given in the Who-Is search, you may be able to determine it from the DNA name server name.

Good for you Joey on calling this clown out. If he ever walks into my office the door will be hitting him in the ** on his way out.

Joey - glad you were able to find out about it and put him in his place. NO EXCUSES!! He needs to take it down!

Joey, have him give Lenn a call and ask about copyright violations. Do you want me to send a cease & desist letter on my attorney letterhead?

Way to go by putting him on notice. It's a shame people have to resort to this.

Naoma: It's funny how I found out. I googled something or other and came across his website. On the google search page, I recognized the language. (Isn't that wierd how we remember the web copy we did so long ago, even if we don't like it and it's outdated?) But when I went to his site it wasn't there. On a whim I highlighted the page...voila! I don't think he'll do it again. He's already gone in there and changed the language...although it's keyword spam. (heck...my web copy on that site is just North of keyword spam anyways. I've been meaning to change it for years but have other important projects ahead of it.)

Brian: I've seen Ms. Harley go off on copyright violations and wondered if she'd show up here. He has, as I mentioned to Naoma, changed the web copy now. But I'll keep Brian Block, Attorney at Law on retainer. :)

Joey, this happened to me not to long ago and I called the agent and had him delete his/my post! I was really upset as I can see you are! We work too hard to have people steal our work!
