Hi All!
I am still wondering how to get Linking points in the Active Rain system. This comes hard for me since i am not a wizz on the computer. I have worked on this for an hour or so with no success in the understanding of Linking.
I do not understand what a tag is either. Tags are not key words, right. What is the point of tags. Do they attach themselves to other words?
I know that some of you are laughing at this old dog learning new tricks. But at least I am
willing to learn.
I am pretty sure this is laid out on the Active Rain University but if not clear many are willing to help. If I was 100% positive I would let you know myself

Ginger, I don't think that AR still gives linking points, they used to in the beginning to encourage members to place AR links in their websites etc. Tags are just words that will make it easier to find certain posts later should you do a search in them. For example, if you are blogging about a listing, one of your tags may be the property address, another tag may just be the word "listings", etc.

Ginger - It's refreshing to see that you are interested in learning these things. I believe that Silvia is correct, AR does not award linking points, and you should always use tags for every post you write - and try to be consistent by the subject you are writing about.
