John has stage Four of Liver Cancer. Most of the money is to pay for the procedures - but I am sure that some of the money will help cover some of his debt, since he is not able to work as much as he use too!

Hi Shayne,I have some live issues too from a blood transfusion 40 years ago.  When did he start getting this sick?  Did it start with Hep. C?  I will do what I can to help, and have told my partner here on Texas Real Estate group to ready your post.  You might want to send her a comment too,Marchel Peterson, she is co-moderator with me of this group.  Please keep me posted and let me know as much about when, how, etc. as you can.  God bless you for doing this for your friend.  Liz

Hi Liz and Thanks for all your Help, it was late last month (March) he just couldn't keep anything down and couldn't sleep. After which Ron finally convinced him to go to the hospital. He was there for about two weeks and he was told he had Cancer.

Now after some more test completed they discovered he had Stage 4 of Liver Cancer. I am trying to find out more about the VA since he is a vet and that may help to reduce his cost of treatments.

HI Shayne, I have not written our top 10 round up yet but when I do I will feature your post.  I would think if he is a vet that he should be able to get help that way.  I will keep him in my prayers.

I just wanted to let everyone know we had a great response to the Caring Realtors John Morris Fund at todays HAR luncheon. Many agents and vendors contributed, and the poster is filling out nicely with signatures. Today we raised over $1,000 at this meeting, and these donations came from people giving from thier hearts at the spur of the moment. This was heartwarming for me to see the support for John and all the people he touched in this industry. It makes me proud to be part of this effort.

I also wanted to thank the other agents who helped out our committee members. Khanh Vo who helped place cards at each table. Chris Vo for greeting and asking for donations. Christine Timmons and Ro Ling for gathering up the extra cards. Every one of our KW Family members helped out. I believe this is just the beginning and we are gathering momentum in our efforts. I know everyone in our office has given so much to this cause. I ask for your continued support to raise awareness for this campaign. Let your vendors and contacts know. Show your clients why we take pride in being a family at our company. Help us get the word out. We do have extra postcards to distribute if anyone needs them just ask me or any committee member.

Lets not forget to thank those who contributed and they should hopefully be posted on the website soon. Especially our vendors and homebuilders who donated at this event. Let them know its not just appreciated by John, but by our entire KW Family here. Also lets not forget to thank Diane Moore at HAR for providing us a table and allowing our efforts at this event.

John Morris is a dear friend of mine. He was my mentor when I joined Keller Williams Sugar land office couple of years ago. I'm really saddended to hear this news. Life is unpredecitable and everybody needs to reflect on that and donate generously to help a very honorable friend. I will pray for John's recovery and my donation will be in the way.

We're looking to get a Golf Tournament in honor of the John Morris fund. Does anyone have any suggestion? I've narrow the golf course list down to three course with our cost at around $55 per player including food. Any advice would be helpful...
