Washington has no state income tax and that makes it popular with both young families, and retirees. However, be forewarned, Camas does have some of the highest local taxes in Clark County. Those of us who live here don't mind. Those taxes pay for our great schools and an abundance of parks and trails. 

Knight’s Pointe on Prune Hill

Knight’s Pointe is located on popular Prune Hill and many of the homes have views of the Columbia River, and at night, the lights of Portland twinkle in the distance. Homes were built during the early 90’s and are sited on larger lots averaging about a half-acre in size. Children who live in the neighborhood attend the highly coveted Camas School District. 

There is an active HOA in Knight’s Pointe, and CCR’s. Anyone interesting in purchasing a home in the neighborhood should read the Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions prior to closing to ensure they can live by the rules. For example, there is an architectural review committee and any changes or additions to the home, or yard, need to be approved. Dues for maintenance of the common areas are $200 per year at this time.
