I just love Spring !!!

After rubbing on some fake tanning gel this weekend just so I could attend a lovely beach side wedding I realized I also needed to get my yard looking back to life!

For useful gardening tips here are a few I enjoy :

Flower arranging ... I love Pinterest and simple 101 sites like Epicurious has ...

Knowing I have dogs who have a natural tendency to sniff and eat anything they find curious I like to try out natural pesticides before trying the store bought toxic ones .. Today I am making a borax , sugar solution for little black ants that have shown up from all the rain we have had this week !

Hoping this gets you excited... and maybe you are ready now to wet your plants !

I'll definitely be looking at some of those links you shared. I don't have much of a green thumb (I'll admit that I killed a cactus once ). I'm hopeful that the green thumb will grow on me someday though!

Mary Weiss It has gone around for quite a while, it was on Pinterest ! I just love it too !!!! I hant a green thumb either I rely on mother nature and my sprinkler to keep my plants alive..the harder I try to fuss around with them the worse they look !

We will probably see less and less greens here soon. The shortage of water and its cost force many homeowners to remove green grass and flowers in their L.A. houses.
