Working in real estate can be an awfully lonely feeling. It can also be a weighty one. The heavy responsibility of attracting clients and servicing them can take its toll on yourself and the health of your business. That's why the most effective agents are those who systematize their businesses in order to leverage their time and energy. Without systems, it's all too easy to see your plan fall by the wayside when even the smallest hurdle arises.

One of the biggest obstacles to success in real estate is the fact that the only person you have to build a successful business is you. The danger is without accountability, execution of your plan can go astray and your strategies fall apart. You cannot effectively market yourself without a plan, systems to execute your plan and the discipline and accountability to stick to your plan.

Who Holds You Accountable?
Success in personal marketing is all about defining a winning strategy and then sticking to your plan like glue. Discuss this plan with your sales manager or success coach they will help you stay focused. You want someone there to keep you accountable.

Most agents have the innate tools for success, but stumble when it comes to the executing a plan. As a result, there are many missed opportunities for launching and growing a real business.

Deena Landsman an agent in south Florida hired a success coach she believed in. In an article I read about success coaches. She said she found great comfort in having a sounding board, someone who is always there for her while she attempts to grow her business and get her marketing campaign off the ground.

If you can't hire a professional success coach than look to your office manager, a good office manager will present you with tools and technology enabling you to put a successful plan together. Then it's up to you to choose a few of these tools and utilize them on a consistent basis.

Your manager should be your support when putting your plan into action. They can help you tap into the power of marketing and help get your campaign running at full speed. On a macro level, a good manager gets under the hood to identify where you need refinement to achieve top performance for you and your personal plan.

Know who you are and be true to that, Stay focused on the things that will continue to grow your business.

Smarter systems focused marketing, behavioral awareness and discipline iare the building blocks of real estate success.Success depends on discipline and planning.
