My friend recently went thru a nasty divorce (aren't they all?). In the process, the courts forced him to sell his home via an Arizona Real Estate Special Commissioner. One was appointed by the court. The agent that was "appointed" had not dealt with Luxury before (in my opinion) and certainly made the process much harder than it needed to be. The house is now falling apart, has still not closed escrow (a year later) - the roof is sliding off (after several heavy wind and rain storms, it is a disaster), the landscape is dying etc.

The court should only be allowed to appoint which real estate agent gets the listing if the spouses can't agree on one. Based on what you stated in your post, it sounds to me like the agent that was appointed should be dismissed.
