Don't wait to buy! the market is starting to pick up

Just this past couple of weeks I am seeing more activites in the market. Buyers are writing offers instead of "just looking", investors are out snapping up bargains...Multiple offers on REO properties...This is really exciting. My agents are writing more offers! All these gloom and doom talk in the media is not true!! On top of that, a lot of agents have left the industry, meaning those few of us left will be on top of the game when the good time rolls full force at us!

Great post.  I just started a blog about getting busy here in PA.  I was wondering how busy it's getting elsewhere as well.  We've even seen multiple offers on homes that have been listed all Winter.  Great Sign.  The investors are also going crazy.

wow!  that is certainly great news for your area; we haven't had the same experience here though.

some of the direct lenders are cutting appraised values by 10 - 13%; stated income is a thing of the past; the activity is with short sales & REO's - not a good time for the retail seller.

retail sellers are competing with shorts sales & REOs.  that's tough.

but I though CA was in the same ship as us in FL ...

I was just up in GA, southeast of Atlanta - it was sad to see so many vacant homes with the 8 x 11 notice in the window - FORECLOSED.  where are all these folks going?  the streets?

Things are picking up in the Hudson Valley (NY). We have another busy weekend ahead...

The days of processing orders are over and those who have been living it up on the knowledge of others is over. Those who remain have a respect and understanding for eachother and know what it took to stay the course.
