Venice Florida Beaches
There are six Venice Florida beaches in the City of Venice on the island with free parking and public restrooms. Their names are: South Jetty, Venice Municipal Beach, Service Club Park, Venice Fishing Pier, Brohard Dog Beach &Paw Park and the Caspersen Beach.
All these beaches are along the shoreline on the gulf coast Florida with the Gulf of Mexico.
South Jetty - Address: 2000 Tarpon Center Dr. Venice Florida
Is on the north end of Venice island, one of the popular places for fishing, sit on benches to watch dancing dolphins, boating, sailing and enjoy the beautiful sunset. Reasonable breakfast and light lunches like bagels, muffins, fresh baked cookies, variety of hot dogs, nachos, sausage etc. are served to your order at Anita’s Sand Castle Snack Bar and Refreshment with cold or hot beverages.
Venice Municipal Beach - Address: 101 The Esplanade, Venice FL
Is located at the west end of Venice Avenue .It has a unique pavilion for shelter and picnic table next to a Snack Bar. Groups may enjoy a Volleyball game. Also, Lifeguards are on duty during the day. For early risers, join the free Yoga exercise group to start a lovely day. Also enjoy the free live music while you relax and watch the spectacular sunset.
Venice Florida Beaches at Service Club Park - Address. 1190 Harbor Drive S. Venice FL
Is artist’s favorite place; there are many shelters with benches to paint and draw the beautiful and peaceful beach surrounded with trees and singing birds. This is a place to be inspired to write your book or novel.
Venice Fishing Pier - Address: 1600 S Harbor Drive. Venice Florida
Venice Fishing Pier is adjacent to a well-known beachfront restaurant in town named Sharky’s Restaurant and the Fin’s of Sharky. During the day, beach goers may play Frisbee; it is a popular place to enjoy fishing among the birds – pelican, egret, gulls, heron and sandpiper. There is a small bait shop also selling fishing accessories and trinkets, a cleaning station with cutting board and short water hose. After your delicious dinner at the restaurant take a stroll down the pier, watching others fishing and the gorgeous sunset. It is also a romantic pier for walking; enjoy the moon and the stars with your partner or spouse after dinner.
Brohard Dog Beach - Address: south of 1600 S Harbor Drive. Venice, Florida
Brohard Dog Beach and Paw Park is the only dog beach in Sarasota County among Venice Florida Beaches. This is a fantastic place to meet others dog lovers. You will enjoy your walk, run and swim together with your dogs and not feel guilty by leaving them home alone. There is no concession store however public restroom, shower room, BBQ picnic shelter are available at the entrance to the dog park.
Caspersen Beach – Address: 4100 Harbor Drive, Venice FL
It is located at the southern end of Venice Island, in a secluded area with unpaved road that is surrounded with trees and natural serenity and walking trail. Bring your water, beverage and food for picnic because there is no concession store. However Public restroom, shower, picnic shelter for BBQ are available.
The rugged coastline and rocks on the Caspersen beach add an extraordinary scene to one of the Venice Florida Beaches that have many local residents, tourists and foreign visitors of all ages who love coming to hunt for shark teeth.
