*House must have curb appeal. Objectively walk to the street and note all distractions that stand in the way of someone seeing and appreciating your home. Are the trees or bushes blocking windows or doors? Does the house lack a safe, well lit walkway to the front door? Or, is there a lack of any landscaping? Does the house look lonely and barren? Sprucing up the front yard helps generate more positive Chi' (life force energy) that is needed for buyer to get excited about your house. 

*The Front Door Should Be a Welcome Portal To The Inside Of Your Home. Your front door should sparkle! Fresh coat of paint and polished or new door handle and lock. The doorbell should work and a new, clean welcome mat be placed outside. The door should open with ease and NOTHING should be on either side to block it. Place colorful planters or seasonal items, i.e. pumpkins to further call in the Chi'.

*De-Clutter The Inside Of The House AND Also The Outside Yard. It amazes me what people leave hanging around the outside of their homes. The cleaner your home and property is, the easier a prospective buyer will be able to envision themselves living there. If you have to, store any items that you do not really need.
