The question now on peoples mind is; will it rain this Panoply weekend? I think the running joke is that because it's Panoply weekend it will, therefore rain! However if you look at a few photos below from last years event I don't see any rain clouds! Never the less it's only water and certainly no reason to miss out on one of Huntsville's most fun and well attended events.

When you've come to a decision about relocating to a new area, some consideration should be given to community involvement, attractions, recreation, employment and the over all livability of that community. Ask yourself what the city or area you are moving to or settling in has to offer you and your family that would maintain and foster future growth? Huntsville Alabama is a city that is recognized by national concerns such as Kiplinger and Forbes as being one of the best cities for growth, employment and to raise a family. Panoply Arts Festival, one of the premier events in Alabama, points to the cultural and economic growth of Huntsville as well as community involvement. The Panoply Arts Festival is supported by volunteers from the Arts Council, local high tech companies supporting NASA and many others such as our area artists, musicians and business owners.
Panoply is a great way to relax, take a leisurely walk around Big Spring Park snap a few photos and enjoy downtown Huntsville.
The photo below at top left you may recognize as the Friendship Bridge from a previous post.
I thought I left my ego at home, but when I spoke to Debbie Prater last year from Tangerinas Recycled Material-Original Art and told her I liked the piece below because it said "Nick's Rack" she was quick to correct me that it actually says "Nice Rack"...I think I like Debbie's naming more!
I wonder how many people leaned against or touched this performing artist and were surprised to find out she is real! (Sorry about the waste container, poor planning on my part, but I think the statue was prompting us to drop our garbage in the can and not on the ground!)
