What A Drag It Is Getting Old

If you were born in the 50's or 60's there may be a Rolling Stones song running threw your head after reading my blog title.

Every other Saturday I put together my two week supply of pills.

Vitamins and Suppliments

Now on the positive side of things everything you see is a vitamin or a supplement except for thyroid pills. Also on the positive side is that we have an outlet store here where nothing above cost more than $2 or $3.

At 60 years of age, and having two teenage kids, let me say I'm in no hurry to kick those kids out of the house. I'm going to need someone around to push my wheel chair around before long (if I live long enough to make it to a wheel chair).

If you are at the stage of your life where you are looking for a house that will accommodate more than one generation/family so you have care and loved ones close by, or if you are looking for a home that will be wheel chair friendly just in case you need it, please give National Marketing Realtors a call. Do you remember that expression "No Pain, No Gain", John McCormack I'm wondering at 60 what the heck I'm gaining??? I must say however that I DO get satisfaction that Mick is still out there doing what he obviously loves.

I'm glad to read those are vitamins . . . I was going to say, for at least 10 years up here, the pharmacies sort them into a blister pack for a full 7 days, 4x a day. Ensures no mistakes are made and easy to change if med orders get changed too. This is just part of the service and there is no charge.

You are so right Kathy Streib , when I was in my 20's I never thought I'd be an old man some day. At least not a rickety old man.

Nicole, I'm amazed as you appear as fit as a fiddle as they say.

Susan, that's a great idea however at what I call "the drug store rummage sale" where the items are $2.00 to $3.00 your lucky to get a bag to put them in.

Hi Bob "RealMan" Timm , You're right about getting older. We bought a Lawn Mower today and my wife and I struggled to put the box on the cart in the store. We asked for help loading it into the back of our vehicle. The young man reached down and picked it up, as if it were a box of chocolates. It's a good thing he didn't eat it.
