The Grab Bag - High Diving Giraffes and Weird Twitter

By

I wasn't planning on doing a Grab Bag today, but when I ran across the videos below, I simply had to share them - they're just too wonderful and will have you smiling all day. And as long as we have a Grab Bag, we've got a useful photography chart and some Weird Twitter to delight you as well.

Aperture, Shutter Speed & ISO

Aperture, shutter speed and ISO (sensitivity to light) settings are interrelated and they all affect the characteristics of the photograph. Learning to use them gives you much more control than simply shooting everything in "auto" mode. Here's a useful chart that shows the relationships between them:

Dick- you know I love these.  I have no idea where your or how you wander around in cyberville but I do love your journey .   It's obvious to me that I must be following the wrong Tweets.

I had to come back... I just watched the giraffe and was fascinated.   I may even watch it again. Thank you!

While entertaining, I have to admit to finding the giraffe video a bit disturbing. The diving not so much, but the giraffe's hanging from the ceiling freak me out.  LOL!

LOVED the tweets!

Good morning Dick,

I love your grab bag! The videos were amazing and I had to admit like Sharon Tara felt they were a little scary! I had to share with Geno...I loved the last tweet by Simon! My little grandson Hudson is actually a good little eater and loves fruit, corn and just about everything..when he first starting eating people food the floor around him was a disaster zone!
