According to the Napa Valley Register article by Jennifer Huffman, Cuvaison Estate Winery sold its Calistoga winery, tasting room-office building and land to St. Helena-based developers Criswell-Radovan, LLC.
"The estimated sale price for just the 14.59-acre property, based on the amount of documentary transfer tax indicated on the deed, was $6.3 million."
Cuvaison Estate Wines will keep all the brands and will continue its winery operations and tasting room at its Carneros location which it has been doing so 2009.
The Criswell-Radovan LLC is a very interesting group and owner of several well know Napa Valley properties as well as the historic Cal Neva Resort & Casino at Lake Tahoe. The renovated Cal Neva and reopened it on Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday. He performed there often and is rumored to supposed to have keep up his bad boy reputation to the fullest there. Other notable Napa Valley holdings include Aetna Springs Resort in Pope Valley and the Calistoga Ranch.
