Duvall WA
I was surprised recently while driving through downtown Duvall on a warm, sunny Sunday afternoon to see so many people outside. Many were walking along the streets, going in and out of shops, and sitting outside eating and drinking. Although, I should have known that on a sunny day in the Puget Sound area that people will be out and about taking advantage of the sun and warmth.

- There is the annual quilt show. Main Street buildings are adorned in quilts made by talented artisans.
- · The December Tree Lighting, held adjacent to the Train Depot Building, signifies the beginning of the December holiday festivities.
- · The Farmer’s Market crops up every spring and runs through early fall. It’s fun to take a stroll through the booths to see the wares – both agricultural and artisan – that local businesses have displayed.
It takes a while to get to know the rhythm and identifying characteristics, but it’s fun when you do and you know that this is my community – this is my home, too.
