Local Pascack Valley School Budget Vote on April 15 2008

It's once again time for the local Pascack Valley residents of the towns of River Vale, Hillsdale, Montvale, Woodcliff Lake, Park Ridge, Westwood, Emerson, andd the Township of Washington to vote about the local School Budgets, as well as the local Boards of Education.  We in New Jersey have very little to say about the town budgets, but can voice our opinions on the local School Budgets.  This sets up an interesting scenario each year, since local residents who are feeling a financial crunch have only one means of expressing their discontent with the entire town budget, and that is to vote against the local school budget.  This often places young families against Seniors, and is unfortunate.

This year the date is April 15, and the local newspapers are filled with information concerning the local school budgets, and many letters to the editor with lengthy discussions.

We will know the state of the School Budgets in the Pascack Valley on April 16, and I will report to you on the results of the Pascack Valley town school budgets, as well as the local High School budgets as well.
