Yesterday I told you about two Middle Polk neighborhood condos currently for sale at the base of Nob Hill. After previewing them, I headed to the top of Nob Hill and previewed two very different condos. Both of these are co-op ownership, both make a statement.
First up, 1333 Jones at Clay St. The Comstock is a large building dating to the 1960s when large and mid-century modern reigned supreme. This is a statement building, offering a doorman, valet parking, superb views. The condo I visited is on the 14th floor, with views of the financial district, the bay, and Yerba Buena island. Beautifully modernized, renovated and appointed, this 1-bedroom, 2-bath, with den home is a pricey offering at $1,750,000. Monthly HOA fees: $1,276. Here one is above it all, a place to enjoy being surrounded by the best.
Two blocks away, another signature building, the Cathedral Tower, is an Art Deco style building located at 1201 California Street. Also co-op ownership, this building is catty-corner from Grace Cathedral, and located right on the cable car line. You can't get much more San Franciscan than that! Listed at $925,000, you'll find a gracious 1-bedroom, 1-bath condo with an elegant Old World feel, a doorman to welcome you, and monthly HOA fees of $936.00. If you have a car, parking is available in the building for $200/month, and there's a laundry room in the building.
Either of these units would make a fine full-time residence, or a perfectly located pied-a-terre or vacation home. Interested? Give me a call and perhaps you'll soon be living your San Francisco dream.
