Biking / Cycling Events in Southern Utah
It is that time of year when we really kick off the biking / cycling season in Southern Utah. Because of the beautiful scenery and lovely climate and plenty of open land, Southern Utah is the best place for cycling events. You will find many cycling events throughout the year that range from casual rides to decades old triathlons and mega marathons. If you have a mountain bike or a road cycle, Southern Utah will have plenty of events to keep your endorphins going for months to come. You can also enjoy watching the events from the sidelines or volunteer to help out with some of the events.

- April 24 - Virgin BMX Race, the distances and prices vary. Held in Virgin UT
- April 25 - Virgin BMX State Qualifier, the distances and prices vary. Held in Virgin UT
- April 25 - Zion Gran Fondo, the distance is 100 miles and prices will vary. Held in Springdale UT
- May 2 - Virgin BMX Race, the distances and prices vary. Held in Virgin UT
- May 2 - Ironman 70.3 St. George, the distances will be1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run. Prices will vary and it will be held in St. George UT
- May 9 - Gooseberry Mesa Mountain Bike Poker Ride, the distance will be 9 miles for a $25 fee. Held in Gooseberry Mesa UT
- May 16 - Virgin BMX Race, the distances and prices vary, Held in Virgin UT
- May 30 - 12 Hours of Zion, this is an endurance event and prices will vary. Held in Ponderosa Ranch Resort St. George
- May 30 - Virgin BMX Race for Life, the distances and prices vary. Held in Virgin UT
- June 6 - Ride the Gap, the distances will be 100 miles, 55 miles or 30 miles. Prices will vary and the event will be held in Parowan
- June 13 - Virgin BMX Race, the distances and prices vary. Held in Virgin UT
- June 27 - Fire Road Dirt Fondo, the distances and prices vary. Held in Cedar City UT
- June 27 - Virgin BMX Olympic Day Race, the distances and prices vary. Held in Virgin UT
- July 11 - Crusher in the Tushar, the distance will be 70 miles. If you register before June 1st it will be $145. After June 1st it will be $165. Held in Beaver UT
- July 18 - Desperado Dual, the distances and prices vary. Held in Panguitch
- 28-31 - HooDoo 500, the distances and prices vary. Held in and around Southern Utah
- 29 - Virgin BMX Race, the distances and prices vary. Held in Virgin UT
- 7-13 - Tour of Southern Utah, the distances will be 60-100 miles daily for the price of $1,299. Held in and around Southern Utah
- 12 - Virgin BMX Race, the distances and prices vary. Held in Virgin Utah
- 26 - Watchman 100, the distances will be 100 miles, 70 miles or 30 miles and prices will vary. Held in Springdale UT
- 10 - Virgin BMX Race, the distances and prices vary. Held in Virgin UT
- 17 - Trick or Tri Triathlon, the distances and prices vary. Held in St. George UT
