2 Cloudbursts in a row?!?  Kerrie La Guardia is spoiling us now.  This one looks like a great chance for those new to ActiveRain and AR veterans alike to get some local posts out there and participate in the ways that makes AR such a great community and tool for your real estate business. Ahem...the points don't hurt, either : )

Hellllooo May!  Where is this year going?!?! A new month brings along a new challenge.  I know you're up for it because, well let's face it, you're a Rainer after all!

We're mixing in some oldies along with new challenges that will hopefully keep you connected, help your business, bring in the clicks, expand your brand....I could keep going here....

May's Cloudburst of You

15 Blog Posts
You know the drill, within the month of May you must publish 15 blog posts.
The cherry on top of any blog post, your comments go a LONG way with Rainers. Try and find some newer members to spread the love around a bit.
5 Market Reports or FAQ's
Informative posts on specific markets go a long way.  Do your business a favor and pump out 5 this month. Here's a template if you'd like to take a look at an example.  If you're not an agent, write up 5 FAQ posts.  Use these when clients email questions.  "Great questions Mrs. Smith, I have a blog written about that very subject"....
3 Hyperlocal Posts - Memorial Day, Mother's Day & Millennials
Hyperlocal is your best chance at getting indexed by Google so get narrow in your geographical location when blogging.  With Memorial Day & Mother's Day coming up this month, those should already be on yoru blogging calendar. Millennials continues to be a buzz word so write a post incorporating that keyword into it.
5 Handwritten Notes
You may be thinking "What is this, 1985?!" alas ladies and gents it is not.  But that doesn't mean a handwritten note to a past client, loved one or Rainer doesn't get treasured.

Good luck!  Once you've completed the above tasks, be sure to fill out the form below.  In early June, 3,000 points will be awarded to you.

Thank you for telling me this today, so that I'm clicking in today, rather than on the 20th of the month on this one.

Nice suggestion to spread the comments around to everyone.

Reinvigorates the vets, brings in the newbies; and creates Active Rain juice.

Claude Labbe glad I'm not the only one that normally does that!  Knowing about it early in the month makes things a little easier.

Troy Erickson along with Claude, I think we all have a habit of seeing these contests a little too late.

Jane Kalinowsky I'll have this one done in no time at all, it's an easy one, you should give it a shot.  Set up your wifi in the sand.

Hannah - thank you for the comment!

Gita - same, appreciate your comment & hope to see 15+ of your blogs!

i need to submit the info for april cloudburst and can't find the post. The contests group has so many posts for the contest. There should be a group which just has info about contests and people should not post anything else there. Can someone reblog the post .?

The written notes are a weekly item, and the comments are a daily item, so those were relativelyeasy.

However, the posts were mostly backloaded to the end of the month.  Usually, I do 3 market reports, and now I've done 5; which I expect will be the new standard for me.

John, you're kicking my butt with this one, but it worked out well. Thank you.
