Arts Alive & Street Painting Festival in Mission Viejo!

May 2 & 3, 2015

GOT CHALK?  The chalk art at the Festival is a favorite for all ages - everyone loves to see the black top come to life with vibrant color. Artists can choose to create artworks that reflect the theme of the 1980s or do a rendition of a masterpiece.

Artists from all over transform and capture amazing beauty of art using pastel chalk as the medium to blend onto asphalt as their canvases. With each artist’s techniques and their enthusiasm for the love of art you can truly experience the metamorphosis around you.

The fun-filled festival features an array of tasty fare, beer and wine, and arts and crafts available for purchase directly from the artists who created them.

Check out the FESTIVAL PROGRAM for a complete listing of arts and crafts vendors, food and wine offerings, and schedule of events.  There will be lots of neat stuff going on!

Time: Sat: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm and Sun: 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Location: 24932 Veterans Way, Mission Viejo

Hi Jill Murty, Realtor - Serving Orange County, CA , I have seen some excellent sidewalk chalk painting.  If I still lived in Mission viejo, I would be checking it out.

Hey Jill, this sounds like a great event.  I am always a fan of anything art related, and this one has snacks too.

Larry Johnston - Did you really previously live in Mission Viejo or are you kidding?  I'm just curious.

If AR would let me post pictures from my iPad, I'd have put some photos up.  I'm stuck sending people to the festival program link to see some impressive pics.
