Need an Angle for Your Real Estate News Story? Give Brian a Call

I don't let success go to my head.  My wife won't let me.

Ready for my next interview

Are you a member of the press?  T.V., newspaper, radio, or online media?  Perhaps you scour the internet and the blogosphere for tidbits and news to help you with your news stories.  In the area of real estate, whether you are looking for a local, regional, or national story, please feel free to contact me.

I'm not shy and I'm always willing to help out.  After all, there's no such thing as overexposure, except maybe if your name is Paris Hilton.

If you contact me for a quote or an interview, you'll be in good company.

Here's the press coverage for which I've been consulted in the last month alone:

The Washington Post

The Washington Post -- Front page of today's April 12th Real Estate Section, "Clicking With Buyers" discusses online home searches and features several local Northern Virginia REALTORS including me, and a photo of one of my current clients.

WBAL AM 1090

WBAL Radio AM 1090 -- this Maryland radio station features one of my recent blog posts, Virginia Welcomes Migration of Maryland Millionaires, under its Hot Topics section on its website.  My post discusses the newly imposed "Millionaire's Tax" in Maryland and invites wealthy Marylanders to consider purchasing a home across the Potomac in Northern Virginia.

CBS The Early Show

CBS News The Early Show -- Interviewed by national broadcast news, my segment aired on March 29th, and I was cited as an expert in a piece on foreclosures.  Click here for the video.

Falls Church News-Press

Falls Church News Press -- my advice to buyers of foreclosure properties is heavily quoted in this March 13th local newspaper story, "The Many Facets of Foreclosure."

The public gets weary of seeing the same talking heads day after day.  There's only so much that everyone can stomach of Ben Bernanke and Henry Paulson discussing the latest woes in the housing market.  Besides when's the last time that Ben or Henry helped someone buy or sell a home?

Coffee Talk

Need help with a story?  Get it from a REALTOR with personality & a good sense of humor.

"Give me a call.  We'll talk.  No big whoop."  I'll even pay for the coffee.

Congratulations. I chuckled as one of the comments the WP quoted from Franks site was mine. Inman news included my comments with attribution yesteday on one of their pieces. Life is good for bloggers.

I think this is what the press ought to have been doing for the past two years.  Asking the professionals in the market everyday how the market it doing not making their own judgements.  Are they qualified to make these analysis?

Brian - the Washington Post article has an excellent overview of internet real estate shopping - one of the most thorough I've seen.  Congratulations on your feature in the article.  You certainly have a great deal of expert information about the Virginia and DC markets.
