Today we are having a bit of rain..again..
Yes, the garden is growing well....but so are the weeds.
Maybe the veggies can get a head start if we try to eliminate the weeds.
The seeds are planted, peas, tomatoes, eggplant, squash, cucumber and peppers.
Great dinners on our table in the near future..

Hi Ginger ! I have delayed planting, we have had some bizarre temps and quite a bit of rain...was afraid to invest just yet... I am thinking next weekend. Nothing tastes as flavorful as home grown.
Hi Michele..WE have the garden in now and have lift off with the cukes, squash, tomatoes. I am so looking forward to a fresh tomatos sandwich..
My garden is looking pretty nice at the moment. However, the California drought is putting strict restrictions of water usage into place. I'm using a lot of gray water outside now. I don't know if I will be producing enough to keep everything vibrant and growing this summer.
Here in Northern California there is no rain on the way and we are being told to let our lawns die. So, as long as the rain comes within limits, enjoy it and start dancing!

This time of year we have rain about every afternoon. Great for the garden and the flowers...

Rain is so plentiful around here right now...that I can not imagine not having rain frequently. Wish I could share what we have..
